At the Queensland Tourism Awards 2022, Cooly Rocks On most recently won GOLD in the Major Festivals & Events category. Now is the perfect time to discover Australia’s favourite nostalgia festival if you are curious but have yet to attend.
As already stated, the festival honours the lifestyle, music, and automobiles of those eras, and under those themes, there are numerous events you may participate in.
Coolangatta streets will be lined with over 900 magnificent vehicles, making it one of Australia’s best Show ‘N’ Shine exhibitions. Visit Kustomville to see the best hot rods, Kustom cars, and lowbrow art, then stroll around Goodwin Park to get close to a massive assortment of cars, scooters, bikes, and more!
Put on your best dancing shoes, music lovers. Every year, the roster for Cooly Rocks On features the best rock ‘n’ roll, swing, rockabilly, and tribute acts in the world. Additionally, you can watch the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest’s official preliminary round.
To top it all off, Cooly Rocks On celebrates those era’s lifestyles. The Cooly Rocks On Moonlight Swing Dance, a party with a 1940s theme that gives guests plenty of time to dance the night away, and the Cooly Rocks On Pin-up Pageant both honour the classic and rockabilly fashions.

It’s finally here: Creekfest is returning for a third year, and this time, it promises to be even more extensive and better than before. This free, enjoyable live music festival is family-friendly and is on June 23-25.
