Have you ever been to the SWELL Sculpture Festival? It’s one of the Gold Coast’s most popular annual events, attracting many visitors since 2003. SWELL Sculpture Festival returns from September 8 to 17, 2023, and our Currumbin accommodation at Princess Palm on the Beach puts you in the middle of the action!

Swell Sculpture Festival 2023

The annual SWELL Sculpture Festival is a free, all-inclusive 10-day outdoor sculpture show organised by and for the people. Each sculpture tells its own story, and the exhibition recounts the tale of the SWELL Sculpture Festival 2023, the 21st exhibition, a celebration of connecting individuals, artistic endeavours, and location.

The massive sculptures will astound, delight, and inspire visitors from dawn to sunset and into the night at Currumbin Beach. SWELL Festival visitors are encouraged to interact with the artworks in the natural surroundings at their own pace and level. You can also dive deeper into the year’s unique artistic components by attending artist presentations, guided walks, and sculptural workshops.

Let’s look at what to expect at Queensland’s largest outdoor sculpture show, with the main show on Currumbin Beach.
